Oil on canvas
Locally-made custom frame
Based on a photo taken on while crossing the channel between Millhaven and Stella, this painting explores the contrast between the sharp, industrial composition of the Frontenac II ferry and the softness of the shore and water surrounding it.
My favourite part of this painting is the tiny hint of setting sun just off the shoulder of the ferry’s upper deck.
This painting has been mounted in a locally-made custom wood frame crafted by local artisan Cameron Gray. The piece is fitted with hanging hardware and is ready to display in your home.
